In addition to peer-reviewed academic research, I very much enjoy writing projects that blend academic research and public discourse in accessible venues. Over the past few years, I have written a few blog posts, op-eds, and investigative reports.
At the moment, I am a blogger at the Centre for Free Expression at Ryerson University and recently launched an investigative journalism project focused on my hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, titled 'Breaking the Taboo.' The project takes the form of a newsletter and features individual stories and some longer series that relate to public accountability, transparency, and the public interest. You can sign up for the free newsletter here: daxdorazio.substack.com
Below you can find a selected assortment of my public writing, some of which is academic and some of which is non-academic.
